Mohamed Salah has hit back at a fan who claimed that Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak are huge upgrades on Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez.

  WHAT HAPPENED?

  A fan took to X to claim that Wirtz and Isak, two of Liverpool's big-money signings in the summer, are huge upgrades over Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez, who have both departed Anfield. Diaz has joined Bayern Munich, while Nunez has joined Al-Hilal.

  Salah has taken aim at the post, which he believes is disrespectful to two of his former team-mates, both of whom played a key role in their Premier League title triumph. Nunez scored five goals last season in the top-flight, while Diaz netted 13, and also added seven assists.
